Zombie Run at The Castle of Muskogee

The Castle in Muskogee will host a thrilling Zombie Run on Saturday, September 12. Registration begins at 1pm with races starting at 3pm.

If you are looking for an exhilarating trail run through zombie-infested territory, this event is for you! The Castle of Muskogee is proud to once again sponsor The Zombie Run for charity – this year; the event benefits The American Cancer Society. While the zombie stuff is fun to pretend about, there are real crises in our community and we support the organizations that stand ready to help.

Dust off your shoes and get ready to run for your life! The race will be a “fun run” with obstacles and very hungry zombies pursuing the runners as they wind through the Castle’s 60-acre domain. Runners will test their skill at out-maneuvering the undead, while climbing over debris, crawling through mud, and scrambling through various obstacles scattered in the field and forest. The one-of-a-kind features of The Castle grounds will provide a challenging adrenaline rush like no other for runners of all skill levels. Registered runners receive a commemorative t-shirt, a Run medallion, a FREE ticket to the Halloween Festival, a FREE drink ticket, and rewards from our sponsors!

On race day, registration begins at 1pm, heats begin at 3pm, and run until 6pm. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be on site from 1-5pm for a blood drive. There will be a massive inflatable obstacle course on the front lawn for kids ages 5 and up. The “Paint the Town Dead” party goes until 8pm with music and dancing, games, and vendors offering food, drink, and merchandise. We end our night with fireworks in true Castle style. Discounted registration is available online until August 31st, and participants can register at higher rates until 4pm on race day.

Can’t get enough zombies in just one night? Join us at The Castle of Muskogee for the Halloween Festival, opening Friday October 2nd and running every Friday and Saturday night in October. Tickets are available online now!
