Philbrook Festival of Trees

The Philbrook museum comes alive for the holidays with the 30th anniversary of the Festival of the Trees. The festival runs through Dec.14

The festival displays various holiday themed items (mostly trees) created by local artist. The trees range from beautifully decorated traditional trees, to out of this world art objects that symbolize trees. All of the art in the festival is for sale, with the proceeds from the sales support the Holidays at Philbrook events as well as year-round educational programs and Museum operations.

What would Christmas be without Ginger Bread Houses. Head-up to the second floor of the Philbrook for a wide display of Ginger Bread Houses created by local schools, scout troops, churches and nonprofits. The craftsmanship and creativity deployed to create these confectionary crafts is astounding.

The Philbrook is free for museum members and youth 17 and younger. General admission is $12 and includes admission to Philbrook downtown.  Enjoy free Museum admission and family friendly, hands-on art-making projects on the second Saturday of each month. Presented by ONEOK, Inc. Bring out the inner artist in each member of the family and experience Philbrook in a whole new way! Visit on the second Saturday of each month for free family-friendly art activities, tours and scavenger hunts for kids of all ages.
