OneOK Outdoor Concert Series at The BOK Center

The ONEOK Outdoor Concert Series is a festival originally created in 2008 with the purpose of promoting local musicians and enlivening Downtown Tulsa.

These free concerts are located on the BOK Center’s expansive outdoor plaza on Third Street, just steps from the arena’s iconic glass and steel wall. A variety of music genres will be featured including rock, country, and red dirt. The outdoor performances begin two hours prior to each evening’s headlining act inside and include a live radio remote by a Cox Radio station and outdoor beer and refreshment sales. Outdoor performances are FREE to the public, but a ticket is required for admission into the arena.

ABOUT JAY FALKNER:  Jay Falkner and his new band are a hardworking southern country-rock band from Southeastern Oklahoma, that wears its Okie roots on its pearl snap sleeves. Jay has been on the road with a guitar in his hand since he was 12 years old, spending the last several touring throughout the South/Midwest with former band, South40, performing their own mix of country, southern rock, reddirt and blues everywhere from honky-tonks and beer joints to state fairs and festivals. Jays self-titled new release takes it to another level with a collection of bittersweet ballads, classic outlaw country and raucous honky-tonk songs that reflect the ups and downs everyday life has to offer.  Click HERE to view Jay Falkner's website.

October 6
Free show outside before the Katy Perry concert by All About A Bubble.
All About a Bubble is an American rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma who has won "Song of the Year" and "Best Indie Rock Band" in the ABoT awards in 2013. West Coast was the first song Luke and Dustin completed together to define the band's infectious sound in the summer of 2011. From inception to production to materialization all music was contrived at Luke's home studio. The band's first performance was at Woodystock in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Friends and family were turned into true fans after one show. The fan base quickly grew and became an unconventional community, gathering for concerts at coffee shops, biker bars, tattoo shops, and venues.
In the summer of 2012 the bands trailer full of hopes, dreams, and thousands of dollars of equipment was stolen. The band was devastated. Fans, local musicians, tattoo artists, loved ones, and strangers quickly rallied together and raised $1,440 to rectify the situation. If that's not astonishing enough, the band received most of their equipment back over the next few months. Thankfully, not all villains are masterminds, albeit still evil. With that fire under All About A Bubble's butt they set forth on releasing their first full-length album, The Life and Times Of.  All About a Bubble is singer and guitarist Dustin Storm , guitarist Luke Chronister, bassist Clinton Summers, and drummer Fabian Robles. They aren't trying to reinvent the wheel, but they are translating raw emotions into words and music. You will hear their name and wonder "What is all about a bubble?", then you'll hear their music and it won't leave you.  Click HERE to view the All About A Bubble website.
