TULSA, Okla. —

Quick facts:

  • Some local bridal businesses are stepping up to help after several brides were suddenly left without wedding dresses.
  • The move comes after Alfred Angelo Bridal closed all of their stores nationwide this week without any notice.
  • The company, which operates more than 60 stores, filed for bankruptcy Friday.
  • The Tulsa location now sports a "store closed" sign and no other explanation, leaving some brides in a panic about finding new dresses for their big days.
  • Store owners at both Alyssa's Bridal and Bridal Palace are offering 10 to 20 percent discounts and no extra charges for last-minute alterations in order to try to help some brides who may have been left without dresses.
  • FOX23 reached out to Alfred Angelo for a comment, but we have not heard back.
